reliability
A website called debate.org held an online debate regarding the reliability of sources, internet vs books. From the above picture, we can see that, more users find that books are more reliable compare to the internet.
The main reason given by one of the voters is that anybody can upload something to the internet. They can say something without backing it up, whereas if a claim is made in a reference book, there is a need to state the source. Thus, we can safely use the sources provided by books without having to worry about it being unreliable.
However, voters who vote that internet is more reliable have their stands do. One voter says that, information uploaded online is exactly at the time of the real event happening, but books take a long time to be written. By the time it is published, information would have been outdated and unreliable.
